Phone numbers have exploded in amount in the last decade. Most had just one number for a landline, and perhaps an extra one for fax or Internet connection. Now that cell phones are just about everywhere, new area codes are needed just to keep up with the demand for new numbers. Because some numbers are anonymous and hard to trace, people think they can make strange calls and not worry about detection. However, that is not always true. Reverse searches can pull up some very interesting information.
Wanting to know and finding information is much easier with an Internet connection, but you have to know what you want to find and how to find it. You could end up with a lot of different directions but you don’t know which way to go. If you go down the wrong road in your quest for information, you may get frustrated and think that things are impossible to find. That may cause you to give up.
Instead, have a plan in place when you want to use a reverse search to find out more information. You should know where to go first and what to look for. What you want to try first would be official white and yellow pages listings online. Each will give you information on landline and listed numbers. If nothing comes up, that does not mean much. You just have to search somewhere else.
One place where you may have luck is by searching through classifieds like CraigsList, and sites like MySpace and LinkedIn. These are all great places where people can leave phone numbers. They may not realize that this is totally public information, so they don’t hesitate. Search through any of them to see if you can find a match for the number.
Though those sources are good, they do not always work. Cell numbers are very hard to locate through such searches, as are landlines that are not listed through directories. Instead of trying to go further with free searches, you can save time if you go to a paid backwards phone search that give you information on who owns a phone number.

If you’re interested in duplicating your CD’s or DVD’s the environmentally friendly way, here are a few things to consider when choosing a company to help you do it.
Green packaging. Some duplication companies offer sleeves made either entirely or partially from recycled cardboard.
Recycled plastics. If you must use plastic in your packaging, look for a company that uses recycled plastics.
A sound policy. What’s the company’s internal policy on energy? Does it operate using green power? Is it committed to conserving energy by using energy-efficient bulbs and appliances? If so, you’ll know that the company is committed to green duplication in other ways as well, and they’re likely to be a good partner.
Soy-based inks. Most commercial inks are petroleum-based and contain VOC’s-volatile organic chemicals. These evaporate quickly into the atmosphere, where they contribute to global warming. Soy-based inks contain no VOC’s.
Recycling services. Environmentally conscious companies sometimes allow customers to send in unwanted CD and DVD discs, and cardboard and plastic packaging to be professionally recycled.
Recycled paper products. Recycling paper puts out 95% less pollution than making it from scratch. When possible, look for a company that’s committed to using recycled paper products.
Duplication companies are offering many ways to make the duplication process more eco-friendly. With careful consideration, you can print your discs in a way that conforms to your environmental principles.
Ok that’s it for now. Hope you enjoyed the article. If you have any ideas or suggestions for content you’d like us to present on this topic please feel free to contact us via email or via the website listed below.

Have you ever wondered why each of us has different handwriting? Handwriting, also known as brain writing, is as individual to the person as fingerprints. Occupations, relationships, personal problems as well as health related issues can be identified in a person’s writing. Analyzing handwriting goes back to the 1600s and originated in Europe. Confucius is quoted as saying “beware of a man whose writing sways like a reed in the wind”.
Ok, you ask, so what traits can be found while analyzing handwriting? Many traits can be shown provided the writing is in cursive, because printing has some limitations. Cursive provides the analyst with the upstrokes in writing which are very important.
Many personality traits including being outgoing, temper, anger towards the opposite sex, sexual deviations, generosity, broadmindedness, lying nature and hundreds more can be found when analyzing handwriting.
Handwriting does have limitations. Handwriting cannot tell the writer’s gender, whether they are left or right handed, their age or their race. It also cannot tell the future or the past.
Handwriting is very interesting because not only can you change your personality and watch your writing change as well, but also the reverse is true! Sometimes there are personality traits that we wish we did not have, but we didn’t know how to get rid of them. One way to change your personality is to use handwriting therapy, also known as graphotherapy. The person learns how to change their writing to rid themselves of unwanted traits, and practices this under the watchful eye of a trained graphologist. Handwriting analysis is becoming a recognized part of therapy.
Children may even benefit from having their handwriting analyzed, which must be analyzed differently than an adult’s writing. May be a child has a problem concentrating at school, or seems to show anger, or they tend not to catch on as quickly as other children. These issues can be dealt with successfully using graphotherapy.
Analyzing handwriting has many different facets. For instance, it is used in the court of law when dealing with document forgery. Companies are beginning to hire handwriting analysts to assist them in finding the right person for the right job. This is because handwriting analysis is a science – it is not guesswork. It is used as a tool to determine the compatibility of an individual to the requirements of a job as well as the compatibility of one individual to another.
All in all, handwriting analysis is very interesting and has endless possibilities. Next time you see someone’s signature or handwriting, you now know that this person’s personality is right out there in front of you, just waiting to be discovered!

When we first heard Barack Obama in his prepared speeches, we were all enthralled with his wonderful delivery – truly wonderful; however, in recent weeks, many are discovering something about this presidential candidate. His ability to read a monitor with a prepared script is excellent: his ability to speak extemporaneously is very, very poor.
As a voice specialist and former professor of public speaking at the college and graduate school levels, I have worked with thousands of students and clients and have had very few who were as good at delivering a prepared speech as Senator Obama. Were I to grade him on his abilities, I would give him an A. His strengths in this regard are unquestionable. He reads very well and exhibits a wonderful tone with good color or animation, emotion, life when he speaks. He is so good in this medium that we don’t realize he is actually reading to us, much like TV broadcasters who deliver the news in a similar fashion. (Many of them could learn much from this man!)
What is so unusual, however, is the stark contrast in his abilities to speak ‘off the cuff’. Were he to give a 40-minute presentation, he would put his audience to sleep because he is very weak in extemporaneous speech. He stammers and has a great deal of difficulty putting his thoughts together, often making mistakes in his responses, giving wrong information, etc.
While the world has laughed at President Bush’s speaking abilities, George W. is actually better at speaking ‘off the cuff’ than Barack. His reading abilities are definitely not as good as those of the senator from Illinois.
Reading from a script takes much practice and I applaud Barack Obama for his excellent delivery in this manner. But if the man would like to become the most powerful person in the world, it might be an idea for him to practice more in his unscripted deliveries. My advice to him would be to stand in front of a camera, give a presentation (not a prepared speech) and then play it back so that he can learn from his mistakes.

We have all heard or told an urban legend or two, maybe even contributed to their spread. What fascinates us the most about these legends is that, despite the grandiose tall tale aspects, these stories are most often based in fact. This is especially true of narratives that pertain to science.
Now, if a person wanted to separate truth from fiction from such tales, they would first have to know how to set up controlled experiments. These experiments would then have to be performed safely, so testers could provide a definitive ‘yah’ or ‘nah’ as to the myth’s authenticity.
This basic premise is what fuels the extremely popular Discovery Channel cable television series, MythBusters.
MythBusters Show Format:
In every informative episode, the stars of the show would take a popular notion, like the idea that Coca-Cola can clean the rust off a chrome bumper and test this to see if this idea is valid. Upon creating several control situations, they work several angles to prove or disprove the particular belief.
Although the main stars of the show, namely Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, are experts in visual and special effects, they often ask experts in the field to help them with the shows various investigations.
For example, if they wanted to prove whether or not an individual can be harmed by lightening while talking on a land line based telephone, they would consult with energy experts. Some of these experts may even oversee trial runs to authenticate the results.
This doesn’t keep viewers from challenging the duos findings, which is all a part of the shows allure. More often than not however, many well known myths, old wives tales and science fallacies are, as Jamie and Adam would say, “Busted”.
MythBusters Stars and Interns:
The show’s primary stars, Jamie and Adam, are the main headliners of MythBusters. This twosome is often responsible for developing the subject matter for the show. Even so, the special effects duo will often ask avid fans of the Discovery Channel show to contribute to show ideas as well.
When Jamie and Adam were later joined by young interns Scottie Chapman, Tory Belleci and Kari Byron, they were able to expand the series a bit, bringing in new concepts as well as broader viewer demographic.
The newcomers were young but brilliant which made MythBusters more appealing to a youthful fan base. For instance, the lovely Kari was an amazing visual artist, Scottie was a metal worker and Tory a carpenter craftsman. This team’s background and unique and interesting personalities lent an even more fun and playful air to the weekly, somewhat educational broadcast.
Scottie was later replaced by Grant Imahara after he had to leave the show during the third season.
Imahara was a welcome addition, as he brought to a show not only a winsome and charming personality, but knowledge in electronics and robotics.
Where is MythBusters shot?
The show is filmed in San Francisco California and the ’soundstage’ can be at the MythBusters workshop or on location in various ares around town.
A UK version airs on the BBC as well, and to date, the show itself plays on numerous cable stations internationally.
MythBusters continues to grow in popularity because it is a fun and interesting way to challenge popular misconceptions about science and long held erroneous beliefs. Fans also feel as if they are a part of the fun as they can suggest show ideas or even offer their own commentary about shows.
In this way, MythBusters combines educational properties with entertainment principles, so that people of all ages can get something from the show and have fun in the process. It is a rare cable TV show that can make this claim and is perhaps why MythBusters will continue enjoying cable TV success for years to come.
The popular Mythbusters show focuses on exploring scientific experiments that are popular in movies and films. Watch Mythbusters as they set out to debunk these famous myths.

The flea, that pesky, jumping scourge, is the most common external parasite in cats; they cause cats to scratch madly and for those unfortunate animals who are allergic to them, scabby, weeping skin sores (Dermatitis) may result. Tapeworm infection and bartonellosis can also be possible flea related problems.
So how does one control and eradicate these troublesome pests? Firstly, it helps to find proof that fleas are in fact living in the cat’s fur. This is easily done by grooming the animal with a flea comb and looking for evidence of flea “dirt”, flecks of chocolate brown grit like specks of pepper, which, horribly enough, are defecated blood from your cat left behind by the fleas (squeeze it between damp tissues to reveal a reddish brown residue).
As fleas are very fast moving, they can be quite hard to spot; to add to the difficulty of treating, be aware that your cat may be attacked by the cat flea, dog flea or even human flea, all of which lay their eggs in the cat’s fur. Your floor-coverings in the house will also likely be a breeding ground, sometimes infested with fleas and their eggs. Keep in mind that a flea can live for up to two years, so vigilance in controlling them is very important.
An effective flea eradication plan should achieve the following goals:
(1) The elimination of immature flea stages in the environment.
(2) The wiping out of adult fleas on the cat itself.
(3) A prevention of any future re-infestation of the parasite.
Extensive cleaning and vacuuming, washing pet bedding etc should be conducted on a regular basis in order to eliminate flea eggs and larvae; fleas breed best in humid conditions so drying out of the home environs and pruning outside are advisable strategies. Some wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons, and possums will also carry fleas so don’t allow them into your house in order to prevent possible infestation of your pets.
Pet stores sell anti-flea products, including powders, shampoos and sprays that work well, also available at veterinary practices and supermarkets. For the home environment, long-active sprays are the best products to use. Treating your cat with insecticide can help, applied to a small area of the neck, effective for whole body protection for a month. Some flea products worth trying include Fipronil (good for kittens), Imidacloprid and Lufenuron (which stops flea eggs from developing). A flea collar for your cat is another good idea, some lasting up to 12 months. Be aware that flea products designed for dogs are not recommended to be used on cats as they can produce toxic effects.
Cleanliness is key in the control and prevention of fleas in cats; be thorough in eradicating them and your cat shall remain happy and content, and free from the dreaded itch!

Your professional career has a limiting reagent on it. That reagent is your education level, and if you’re trying to get a promotion in these interesting (in the Chinese curse sense) times, any kind of change to your income potential in a positive manner should be evaluated and considered.
One of the best ways to increase your earnings potential is through a Master’s degree program. Post-secondary education, particularly in work specialized fields, like Law and Business and Engineering, can be the difference between getting that promotion and pay raise, and being unemployed.
Here’s why: A Master’s degree demonstrates not just that you’ve gained an educational attainment, but that you have shown perseverance and a willingness to work. It shows that you can be self directed, and that you can get into a competitive program. And it shows your dedication to the field you got the degree in; it’s an indicator that you’re willing to stick to the field and are committed to it.
Getting a Master degree, especially if you’ve been in the work force for a while, requires a careful balancing act. You don’t have the time to go back to living on campus, and have other commitments as well — keeping your current job, maintaining your mortgage, and keeping in touch with your family. Fortunately, there are several good, accredited online Master’s degree programs, in fields ranging from jurisprudence to business to hotel management to counseling and education.
Online graduate degree programs have gotten better since the mid ’90s. Where they used to be seen as being a step up from diploma mills, now they’re offered by top rank schools, like Harvard Business School and MIT. The instruction is challenging and top notch, and the learning pace can be handled online from the comfort of your own home.
Other avenues for getting a Masters degree include getting accredited for the skills you already use in your job. This kind of “work related” degree program can extend to Doctorates if need be, though in most cases, it tends to be for gaining an Engineering degree for someone who started out as a shop machinist.
While a Master’s degree is not the only requirement for career advancement or career change, it’s an important one — and one that has, statistically, proven to be a real income generator. So look at your Masters Degree as an investment in yourself, and your own income potential, rather than as an expense that you have to shoulder.
Likewise, don’t treat a graduate degree as something that’s a guarantee — you still have to be good at the skills your future employer is hiring for. All a Master degree shows is that you have demonstrated these skills to someone else; it doesn’t demonstrate that you’ll be a good team player or a good fit for the business culture. Even though the Master’s degree will help you get a job interview you’ll still have to win them over in the interview.
Read on to learn more about online master’s degree programs for career advancement or career change, plus get tips on how to find an accredited graduate degree program that suits your career plan.

The three letters “PKD” have become a shorthand for readers of Philip K. Dick’s work to identify themselves and find others. The man’s initials inspire admiration among fans and ridicule among detractors.
I had the great honor and privilege of spending ten years with a great genius. Those were the final ten years of Phil’s life.
Falsely branded as a brain-damaged drug addict, Philip K. Dick continued producing stories in which the ideas of the great philosophers entered into concrete reality. The allegations of insanity hurt him, but he refused to engage in a futile argument with his accusers.
If producing one of his finest works, A Scanner Darkly, did not prove that he had all of his faculties, then any effort to demonstrate his mental health was futile.
Yes, he was diagnosed as manic depressive, and later as bipolar (the same thing, with a new label), but his tendency to experience wide mood swings had nothing to do with drugs. His hyperactivity was simply a symptom of his premature birth. He also suffered from asthma and hypertension, due to his having been born six weeks early. Phil and his twin sister were tiny babies. In fact, Phil was one of the smallest babies to survive, and his twin sister did not survive. Medical science has advanced considerably since 1928, yet even today, premature babies experience a plethora of medical problems as they grow up, and they do not live as long as full-term babies.
When my husband began experiencing visions in February 1974, he might have been suffering minor strokes due to his high blood pressure, which kept getting out of control. At one point, he was hospitalized for ten days so the doctors could closely monitor his blood pressure while they adjusted his medication.
Minor strokes might explain the flashes of bright light that Phil saw, but they would not explain the content of his visionary experience. I was there, and I know that he was not abusing any substances, so you can throw that one out the window.
Besides, there were some visible, tangible events. For example, one night the radio kept playing after I unplugged it. One afternoon a yellow van pulled up out front, and workmen in white coveralls brought half a dozen large, unlabeled cardboard boxes into the vacant apartment next door. We were curious, so when we found the door unlocked, we went inside. We found all sorts of electronic equipment in the hall closet and a working telephone in the kitchen of that supposedly vacant apartment. Strange cars began pulling up in the alley behind our apartment and sitting there for up to half an hour at a time.
The visions stopped when we moved out of that apartment, so I can’t help thinking that the electronic equipment in the next apartment had something to do with Phil’s experience.
That having been said, Phil viewed the phenomenon as an attack by unknown forces followed with a rescue by equally unknown forces. It began with voices coming over our bedside radio and telling him to die, and it ended with a message of hope and healing.
I can’t help believing that Phil experienced something very real, but that something defies explanation. He spent the last eight years of his life trying to explain it, and he wrote thousands of pages about it, but he never found a satisfying solution to the puzzle of his visionary experiences of 1974.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the experience was that people presented themselves to him as time travelers. They said that somebody had changed history, that they didn’t like the outcome, and that they were attempting to repair our timeline to produce a more hospitable future. They introduced the idea of orthogonal time, which appears prominently in Phil’s Exegesis. They explained that alternate timelines exist perpendicular to the timeline that we experience, like a series of dominoes stacked above our world. The time travelers, or rather time meddlers, were capable of opening gaps in our timeline and dropping one or more sections of the alternate timelines into those gaps.
The time travelers warned Phil that the United States was in danger of becoming a police state much like the scenario of George Orwell’s dystopic novel 1984. Our television sets would watch us, indoctrinate us and numb our senses to the reality of an increasingly restricted life. Our friends and neighbors would turn us in to the authorities for the most minor offenses, fearing that they would be punished if they failed to report our smallest transgressions, such as putting out our trash cans on the wrong night or crossing the street in the middle of the block instead of at the corner The government would control our thoughts, as well as our actions, down to the smallest detail. Orwell’s “Big Brother” was becoming a reality. Those predictions seemed possible, although improbable, in the midst of the War on Drugs. Today, on the other hand, that possibility is becoming a probability.
For one thing, researchers are exploring ways of communicating directly to people’s brains with electronic devices, while others are seeking ways to receive messages directly from people’s brains with electronic devices. These efforts might seem wasted, their goals impossible, but they are attempting to achieve positive results. In fact, with the miniaturization of electronics, it is possible to implant a tiny receiver in a person’s ear and transmit to it, much as you might place a call to a cellular telephone.
There’s more, and it is frightening.
Ever since that tragic September morning in 2001, we have seen our personal liberties stripped away, one seemingly insignificant bit at a time. Elderly ladies are searched before boarding an airline flight, children’s toys are ripped apart or confiscated, and we are not allowed to carry bottled water or fingernail clippers past the boarding gate. We are not even allowed to lock our checked-in luggage, since that would stop strangers from opening up our suitcases to look inside. We are required to obtain passports to visit our neighboring countries, whereas in the past all we needed to cross into Mexico or Canada was a driver’s license or non-driver ID. Oh, yes, you can still enter Mexico without a passport, but you can not get back into the United States without one. And did you know that all the new passports contain tracking devices that enable the authorities to know exactly where you are? Is Big Brother watching you?
I’m scaring myself, so I’ll stop here.

When making a speech your whole point in making that speech is to try and get a message across to your audience. So you need to make your speech in such a way that you motivate your audience into taking action. This, of course, is the main reason why you should use motivational speech topics but let’s have a look in more detail.
Have you ever heard a speech that has made you cry? Have you ever heard a speech that leaves you uplifted and motivated to go and do something? When a speaker gives a speech that affects people that way then he has succeeded with what he wanted to do. He has won over his audience and they are now at his mercy.
When giving a motivational speech you are aiming to uplift and inspire your audience. You want your speech to be relevant to the topic that your audience is there to listen to. You want to promote excellence and show that you are an expert in your field and give them the feeling that they need to pursue what you want of them. Most importantly you want your audience to leave your speech feeling better than they did when they arrived.
There are many occasions where you can use motivational speeches such as at weddings, graduations, business seminars, sports awards ceremonies, coaching situations, self-improvement seminars and many more.
What topic do you choose for your motivational speech? Well, it will all depend on the occasion for which you are giving the speech.
Some of the topics that you may be able to use are speeches for improving sales, improving self esteem, becoming a winner, setting goals for the future, positive thinking, religion, charity, letting go of the past, becoming successful, affirmations, losing weight, getting fit, breaking habits, career development, gaining confidence and I’m sure there are many more that I haven’t mentioned.
These are all topics that you can use motivational speeches for and if what you’re looking for is not listed then try and think about the type of emotion that you want to send to your audience and work from there.
Speeches can be difficult to write and it can help if rather than just writing it, stand in front of the mirror and talk. If you don’t really want to be in front of the mirror then stand in front of the sofa and pretend you have an audience there. Sometimes just playing around doing a pretend speech can often bring out some great ideas whereas just sitting down to write a speech your mind can often go blank.
Just remember your main goals of what you want to achieve and be as motivating as you can to get that message across to your audience.

titleRed Sky at Night/titlepRed sky at night, shepherds delight. Red in the morning, shepherds warning.brThis is probably the most famous of weather folklore and, as is so often the case, has been passed down through generations but has some basis in truth. As the sun sinks slowly down to the horizon at the end of the day, the colour of the sky depends on the nature of the air that the sunlight passes through. When the air is dry dust particles will be carried in the air absorbing and scattering the suns light causing it to appear red./ppBecause of the spinning of the earth as the sun sets in the west this is also the direction of the prevailing winds, so in effect the sunlight is passing through air that is heading our way (this is for the mid-latitudes at least). So a red sky at night indicates drier weather on the way.brHowever a red sky in the morning indicates that the drier air is off to the east and it is likely that a front and more disturbed weather is heading in from the west. (This explains why the saying is more relevant to the mid-latitudes). So the shepherds had it right all along!/ppThere are of course many other weather sayings some of which have basis in fact, some of which are totally wrong (for instance cows do not lie down if it is about to rain!).brAnother lore which could be a good guide is the idea of counting how many seconds elapse between a lightning flash and the sound of thunder to measure how far away a storm is. As it is the expansion of the superheated air around a lightning flash that causes the clap of thunder, and the speed of light (299,792,458 m/s) is so much quicker than the speed of sound (340 m/s), then this can be used as a rough guide./ppOther weather folklore which have been built through generations of observation include:/ppRain before seven, fine by elevenbrClear moon, frost soonbrNo weather is ill, if the wind is stillbrwhen forest murmurs and mountains roar, close the windows and shut the doors/ppOne of the more interesting and popular weather lores is Its raining cats and dogsĀ. The origins of this saying are difficult to trace. One theory is that cats and dogs (and other small animals) would live nestled in the warmth of a thatched roof. When it rained particularly heavily they would be washed out of the roof. Another idea is that heavy rains in the dirty streets of 17th century England would wash dead animals along the roads along with other debris. The animals hadnt fallen from the sky but this could have helped coin the expression./ppHowever rational or obvious a saying may be, it can never 100% predict the weather. But these sayings have become part of our everyday language and it is easy to understand that in the past when people lived and worked on the land that these sayings would be very important to them as a very early means of predicting the weather./ppMark Boardman BSc dip.hyp is a leading author and expert on A target=_new href=http://www.agloriousfuture.comthe weather/A.
