Phone numbers have exploded in amount in the last decade. Most had just one number for a landline, and perhaps an extra one for fax or Internet connection. Now that cell phones are just about everywhere, new area codes are needed just to keep up with the demand for new numbers. Because some numbers are anonymous and hard to trace, people think they can make strange calls and not worry about detection. However, that is not always true. Reverse searches can pull up some very interesting information.
Wanting to know and finding information is much easier with an Internet connection, but you have to know what you want to find and how to find it. You could end up with a lot of different directions but you don’t know which way to go. If you go down the wrong road in your quest for information, you may get frustrated and think that things are impossible to find. That may cause you to give up.
Instead, have a plan in place when you want to use a reverse search to find out more information. You should know where to go first and what to look for. What you want to try first would be official white and yellow pages listings online. Each will give you information on landline and listed numbers. If nothing comes up, that does not mean much. You just have to search somewhere else.
One place where you may have luck is by searching through classifieds like CraigsList, and sites like MySpace and LinkedIn. These are all great places where people can leave phone numbers. They may not realize that this is totally public information, so they don’t hesitate. Search through any of them to see if you can find a match for the number.
Though those sources are good, they do not always work. Cell numbers are very hard to locate through such searches, as are landlines that are not listed through directories. Instead of trying to go further with free searches, you can save time if you go to a paid backwards phone search that give you information on who owns a phone number.

If you’re interested in duplicating your CD’s or DVD’s the environmentally friendly way, here are a few things to consider when choosing a company to help you do it.
Green packaging. Some duplication companies offer sleeves made either entirely or partially from recycled cardboard.
Recycled plastics. If you must use plastic in your packaging, look for a company that uses recycled plastics.
A sound policy. What’s the company’s internal policy on energy? Does it operate using green power? Is it committed to conserving energy by using energy-efficient bulbs and appliances? If so, you’ll know that the company is committed to green duplication in other ways as well, and they’re likely to be a good partner.
Soy-based inks. Most commercial inks are petroleum-based and contain VOC’s-volatile organic chemicals. These evaporate quickly into the atmosphere, where they contribute to global warming. Soy-based inks contain no VOC’s.
Recycling services. Environmentally conscious companies sometimes allow customers to send in unwanted CD and DVD discs, and cardboard and plastic packaging to be professionally recycled.
Recycled paper products. Recycling paper puts out 95% less pollution than making it from scratch. When possible, look for a company that’s committed to using recycled paper products.
Duplication companies are offering many ways to make the duplication process more eco-friendly. With careful consideration, you can print your discs in a way that conforms to your environmental principles.
Ok that’s it for now. Hope you enjoyed the article. If you have any ideas or suggestions for content you’d like us to present on this topic please feel free to contact us via email or via the website listed below.

A wrinkle by definition is considered to be a ridge or crumple on any surface. Generally it is used to refer to the folds of fabrics or even clothing. It can refer also to the skin of any living organism. Wrinkles in fabrics or other materials can become permanent if left the way they are for any huge length of time. The problem there is though that you can’t use a wrinkle cream to help with the laundry. The wrinkles of your skin is generally caused by any constant facial expression such as aging, smoking, sun damage, poor hydration, and many other factors. Another common cause of wrinkles in the skin is rapid weight loss. What causes wrinkles here is the reduction in the volume of fat cells that aid in cushioning the face. Those people that live in areas where the ozone layer is beginning to thin may be a lot more likely to have their skin damaged by the sun. An interesting fact is that heavy smokers could be almost five times as likely to end up with wrinkled facial skin as those of us who do not smoke. In truth those heavy smokers who are in their 40’s often have facial wrinkles that resemble the wrinkles of nonsmokers who are in their 60’s.
One of the easiest ways we know of to fight wrinkles would involve a person properly moisturizing their skin. The key to keeping your skin healthy, shiny and wrinkle free is by making sure the deeper layers of the skin remain well very well hydrated and completely replenished. Any cream that is highly effective will be able to moisturize the skin deeply and will promote a large amount of skin elasticity. This will allow the skin to stretch and then return back to its previous smooth appearance instead of it sagging after it has been stretched.
Anti-wrinkle creams tend to vary in how affective they are. These creams are specifically designed cosmetic products that are marketed with the overall promise of making you the consumer look years younger and also reduce the visible wrinkles. Another very important part of maintaining healthy skin that is often overlooked is wearing clothing that will provide excellent protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. There are several different mixtures you can make at home to help keep the wrinkles away. Some of these are coconut oil, bananas, and especially vitamin E which has always been known for aiding in the maintaining of healthy skin.
Sherry Novotney writes hype-free reviews of the absolute best anti-wrinkle creams and treatments available today. Their site specializes in bringing you the TRUTH so you don’t shell out money to bogus scammers, which are prevalent in the skin care industry. One of their favorite facial creams is LifeCell, an effective, proven, dermatologist-recommended treatment. Either way you choose, please make sure you REVIEW BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

Have you ever wondered why each of us has different handwriting? Handwriting, also known as brain writing, is as individual to the person as fingerprints. Occupations, relationships, personal problems as well as health related issues can be identified in a person’s writing. Analyzing handwriting goes back to the 1600s and originated in Europe. Confucius is quoted as saying “beware of a man whose writing sways like a reed in the wind”.
Ok, you ask, so what traits can be found while analyzing handwriting? Many traits can be shown provided the writing is in cursive, because printing has some limitations. Cursive provides the analyst with the upstrokes in writing which are very important.
Many personality traits including being outgoing, temper, anger towards the opposite sex, sexual deviations, generosity, broadmindedness, lying nature and hundreds more can be found when analyzing handwriting.
Handwriting does have limitations. Handwriting cannot tell the writer’s gender, whether they are left or right handed, their age or their race. It also cannot tell the future or the past.
Handwriting is very interesting because not only can you change your personality and watch your writing change as well, but also the reverse is true! Sometimes there are personality traits that we wish we did not have, but we didn’t know how to get rid of them. One way to change your personality is to use handwriting therapy, also known as graphotherapy. The person learns how to change their writing to rid themselves of unwanted traits, and practices this under the watchful eye of a trained graphologist. Handwriting analysis is becoming a recognized part of therapy.
Children may even benefit from having their handwriting analyzed, which must be analyzed differently than an adult’s writing. May be a child has a problem concentrating at school, or seems to show anger, or they tend not to catch on as quickly as other children. These issues can be dealt with successfully using graphotherapy.
Analyzing handwriting has many different facets. For instance, it is used in the court of law when dealing with document forgery. Companies are beginning to hire handwriting analysts to assist them in finding the right person for the right job. This is because handwriting analysis is a science – it is not guesswork. It is used as a tool to determine the compatibility of an individual to the requirements of a job as well as the compatibility of one individual to another.
All in all, handwriting analysis is very interesting and has endless possibilities. Next time you see someone’s signature or handwriting, you now know that this person’s personality is right out there in front of you, just waiting to be discovered!

When we first heard Barack Obama in his prepared speeches, we were all enthralled with his wonderful delivery – truly wonderful; however, in recent weeks, many are discovering something about this presidential candidate. His ability to read a monitor with a prepared script is excellent: his ability to speak extemporaneously is very, very poor.
As a voice specialist and former professor of public speaking at the college and graduate school levels, I have worked with thousands of students and clients and have had very few who were as good at delivering a prepared speech as Senator Obama. Were I to grade him on his abilities, I would give him an A. His strengths in this regard are unquestionable. He reads very well and exhibits a wonderful tone with good color or animation, emotion, life when he speaks. He is so good in this medium that we don’t realize he is actually reading to us, much like TV broadcasters who deliver the news in a similar fashion. (Many of them could learn much from this man!)
What is so unusual, however, is the stark contrast in his abilities to speak ‘off the cuff’. Were he to give a 40-minute presentation, he would put his audience to sleep because he is very weak in extemporaneous speech. He stammers and has a great deal of difficulty putting his thoughts together, often making mistakes in his responses, giving wrong information, etc.
While the world has laughed at President Bush’s speaking abilities, George W. is actually better at speaking ‘off the cuff’ than Barack. His reading abilities are definitely not as good as those of the senator from Illinois.
Reading from a script takes much practice and I applaud Barack Obama for his excellent delivery in this manner. But if the man would like to become the most powerful person in the world, it might be an idea for him to practice more in his unscripted deliveries. My advice to him would be to stand in front of a camera, give a presentation (not a prepared speech) and then play it back so that he can learn from his mistakes.

Here’s a very simple, but critically important piece of advice for any executive about to give a speech or make a presentation: you live or die by how you start. Every good speech coach will tell you that audiences make a thumbs-up/thumbs-down judgment about a speaker, and his or her topic, during the first few spoken sentences. Despite this fact of life, far too many executives start off poorly.
Here are some ways to avoid “death by indifference.”
TALK ABOUT PEOPLE
In high school I was lucky enough to have an inspiring teacher whose wonderful lessons in good writing stayed with me. Early on, he would mark my boring essays with three letters “T” “A” “P”-which stood for “Talk About People.” That advice on how to liven up prose goes double for speeches or presentations. People like to hear about people, that is, they want to hear about specific human beings. So the chances are extremely good that ANY audience will pay attention if you start with a well-told story about an interesting actual person. The best human being to use may be you, yourself. But if you’re reluctant, or the audience somehow doesn’t seem suited to a first-person story, don’t worry. The key is to start your speech with the kind of evocative details about a specific person that draws people in. They make audiences pay attention.
Politicians know the importance of talking about people better than anyone. Think about the most memorable speech you’ve heard this election year. The chances are good it was filled with little stories about people the candidate had met on the campaign trail.
DON’T START WITH A JOKE
This may run counter to what you’ve heard about how to give a good speech, but the fact is that starting off with a joke is very, very risky. Andrew Gilman, president of CommCore Consulting Group (www.commcoreconsulting.com), who has spent years coaching corporate CEOs, summed up the risks well: “Telling a joke can be like throwing a football pass,” Gilman says. “Three things can happen and two aren’t good.”
You may get a laugh, but you may get stone silence, which will get you off to a shaky start. Worse, you may inadvertently offend some listeners and lose the audience completely. So don’t begin with a joke, especially when you’re addressing an audience you don’t know very well.
FIND A NEWS HOOK
I once had the pleasure of hearing comic Mort Sahl do an hour of hilarious material based on stories he had found in that morning’s edition of the New York Times. Not every speaker can grab an audience like Sahl did, but you can learn from his craft. To get off to a good start, mention a newspaper article the audience has almost surely seen or has easy access to. The ones members of the audience who have read the article will be drawn into the speech. The ones who haven’t seen the item will pick up the paper or go online later and be reminded of what you had to say.
In addition, opening your speech by linking it to something in the news gives a whole new level of credibility to what you are about to say.
A good start doesn’t guarantee a good speech, but a bad start almost always guarantees poor one.
Dr. Jeffrey Porro, Ph.D. has written “first-person speeches” and provided communication strategies for the CEOs of Sodexo, Eastman Chemicals, the McGraw Hill Companies, Office Depot, the COO of General Mills, as well as for diplomats such as former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, other government leaders, and presidents of some of the nation’s leading trade and professional associations. In addition to offering his expertise to world and business leaders, he has extended his skills to the world of entertainment. Dr. Porro discovered and researched the true story of a Jim Crow-era African American college debate team, and helped turn it into the 2007 feature film The Great Debaters starring Denzel Washington.

Reportedly, Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Bryan McCabe is saying he is now open to waiving his contract’s no movement clause. He has been asked by Leafs GM Cliff Fletcher to come up with a list of teams he would be willing to accept a trade to.
A trade would be a good resolution for both parties involved. Bryan McCabe will get a new start with a new team, and the Toronto Maple Leafs will be able to move forward with a younger defense. This would also mean that Pavel Kubina would likely be staying on the current Maple Leafs roster.
A Maple Leafs defence without McCabe?
So what would the Toronto Maple Leafs defence look like without Bryan McCabe? In my opinion, better. True, McCabe has had some great offensive seasons with the Leafs, but he has also been notorious for committing costly turnovers, and playing mediocre in his own end.
With Bryan McCabe out of the lineup, the Maple Leafs defensive roster may look something like this:
Pair 1: Pavel Kubina/Thomas Kaberle – This will be the Maple Leafs top pair, and should serve them well. Kaberle is one of the top puck moving defensemen in the NHL. Kubina on the other hand, is solid defensively, and can also be a physical presence. If he can throw all of his 245 pounds around, he can punish opposing forwards and give them second thoughts about crossing into the Maple Leafs zone.
Pair 2: Carlo Colaiacovo/Jeff Finger – This likely second pair for Toronto should be an interesting one. The big question though, is Colaiacovo’s injury history. Will he finally stay healthy? If so, he can be a very physical player that can wear down the opposition, and could end up being one of the Maple Leafs top defenders. Jeff Finger doesn’t have a lot of offensive upside, but he is very consistent in his own end. If his consistency can help keep the puck out of the Maple Leafs net, his overpriced contract may just be worth it.
Pair 3: Anton Stralman/Jonas Frogren – These two will likely be paired together, given their history as part of the Swedish National Team. I am most looking forward to watching this pair. Frogren may be a newcomer to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but was a top veteran in the Swedish Elite League. He says he likes to hit, and if this is true, it will be a welcome addition for Maple Leafs fans, who have been hoping to see a more physical defense. Stralman is one of this team’s up and coming young players, and has the potential to be a great offensive d-man.
That might not be such a bad defense. Under the guidance of defensive guru Ron Wilson, look for the Maple Leafs blue line to take a lot of people by surprise this year. This is of course, if Bryan McCabe agrees to waive his no movement clause, and depart from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

We have all heard or told an urban legend or two, maybe even contributed to their spread. What fascinates us the most about these legends is that, despite the grandiose tall tale aspects, these stories are most often based in fact. This is especially true of narratives that pertain to science.
Now, if a person wanted to separate truth from fiction from such tales, they would first have to know how to set up controlled experiments. These experiments would then have to be performed safely, so testers could provide a definitive ‘yah’ or ‘nah’ as to the myth’s authenticity.
This basic premise is what fuels the extremely popular Discovery Channel cable television series, MythBusters.
MythBusters Show Format:
In every informative episode, the stars of the show would take a popular notion, like the idea that Coca-Cola can clean the rust off a chrome bumper and test this to see if this idea is valid. Upon creating several control situations, they work several angles to prove or disprove the particular belief.
Although the main stars of the show, namely Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, are experts in visual and special effects, they often ask experts in the field to help them with the shows various investigations.
For example, if they wanted to prove whether or not an individual can be harmed by lightening while talking on a land line based telephone, they would consult with energy experts. Some of these experts may even oversee trial runs to authenticate the results.
This doesn’t keep viewers from challenging the duos findings, which is all a part of the shows allure. More often than not however, many well known myths, old wives tales and science fallacies are, as Jamie and Adam would say, “Busted”.
MythBusters Stars and Interns:
The show’s primary stars, Jamie and Adam, are the main headliners of MythBusters. This twosome is often responsible for developing the subject matter for the show. Even so, the special effects duo will often ask avid fans of the Discovery Channel show to contribute to show ideas as well.
When Jamie and Adam were later joined by young interns Scottie Chapman, Tory Belleci and Kari Byron, they were able to expand the series a bit, bringing in new concepts as well as broader viewer demographic.
The newcomers were young but brilliant which made MythBusters more appealing to a youthful fan base. For instance, the lovely Kari was an amazing visual artist, Scottie was a metal worker and Tory a carpenter craftsman. This team’s background and unique and interesting personalities lent an even more fun and playful air to the weekly, somewhat educational broadcast.
Scottie was later replaced by Grant Imahara after he had to leave the show during the third season.
Imahara was a welcome addition, as he brought to a show not only a winsome and charming personality, but knowledge in electronics and robotics.
Where is MythBusters shot?
The show is filmed in San Francisco California and the ’soundstage’ can be at the MythBusters workshop or on location in various ares around town.
A UK version airs on the BBC as well, and to date, the show itself plays on numerous cable stations internationally.
MythBusters continues to grow in popularity because it is a fun and interesting way to challenge popular misconceptions about science and long held erroneous beliefs. Fans also feel as if they are a part of the fun as they can suggest show ideas or even offer their own commentary about shows.
In this way, MythBusters combines educational properties with entertainment principles, so that people of all ages can get something from the show and have fun in the process. It is a rare cable TV show that can make this claim and is perhaps why MythBusters will continue enjoying cable TV success for years to come.
The popular Mythbusters show focuses on exploring scientific experiments that are popular in movies and films. Watch Mythbusters as they set out to debunk these famous myths.

The flea, that pesky, jumping scourge, is the most common external parasite in cats; they cause cats to scratch madly and for those unfortunate animals who are allergic to them, scabby, weeping skin sores (Dermatitis) may result. Tapeworm infection and bartonellosis can also be possible flea related problems.
So how does one control and eradicate these troublesome pests? Firstly, it helps to find proof that fleas are in fact living in the cat’s fur. This is easily done by grooming the animal with a flea comb and looking for evidence of flea “dirt”, flecks of chocolate brown grit like specks of pepper, which, horribly enough, are defecated blood from your cat left behind by the fleas (squeeze it between damp tissues to reveal a reddish brown residue).
As fleas are very fast moving, they can be quite hard to spot; to add to the difficulty of treating, be aware that your cat may be attacked by the cat flea, dog flea or even human flea, all of which lay their eggs in the cat’s fur. Your floor-coverings in the house will also likely be a breeding ground, sometimes infested with fleas and their eggs. Keep in mind that a flea can live for up to two years, so vigilance in controlling them is very important.
An effective flea eradication plan should achieve the following goals:
(1) The elimination of immature flea stages in the environment.
(2) The wiping out of adult fleas on the cat itself.
(3) A prevention of any future re-infestation of the parasite.
Extensive cleaning and vacuuming, washing pet bedding etc should be conducted on a regular basis in order to eliminate flea eggs and larvae; fleas breed best in humid conditions so drying out of the home environs and pruning outside are advisable strategies. Some wildlife, such as squirrels, raccoons, and possums will also carry fleas so don’t allow them into your house in order to prevent possible infestation of your pets.
Pet stores sell anti-flea products, including powders, shampoos and sprays that work well, also available at veterinary practices and supermarkets. For the home environment, long-active sprays are the best products to use. Treating your cat with insecticide can help, applied to a small area of the neck, effective for whole body protection for a month. Some flea products worth trying include Fipronil (good for kittens), Imidacloprid and Lufenuron (which stops flea eggs from developing). A flea collar for your cat is another good idea, some lasting up to 12 months. Be aware that flea products designed for dogs are not recommended to be used on cats as they can produce toxic effects.
Cleanliness is key in the control and prevention of fleas in cats; be thorough in eradicating them and your cat shall remain happy and content, and free from the dreaded itch!

Your professional career has a limiting reagent on it. That reagent is your education level, and if you’re trying to get a promotion in these interesting (in the Chinese curse sense) times, any kind of change to your income potential in a positive manner should be evaluated and considered.
One of the best ways to increase your earnings potential is through a Master’s degree program. Post-secondary education, particularly in work specialized fields, like Law and Business and Engineering, can be the difference between getting that promotion and pay raise, and being unemployed.
Here’s why: A Master’s degree demonstrates not just that you’ve gained an educational attainment, but that you have shown perseverance and a willingness to work. It shows that you can be self directed, and that you can get into a competitive program. And it shows your dedication to the field you got the degree in; it’s an indicator that you’re willing to stick to the field and are committed to it.
Getting a Master degree, especially if you’ve been in the work force for a while, requires a careful balancing act. You don’t have the time to go back to living on campus, and have other commitments as well — keeping your current job, maintaining your mortgage, and keeping in touch with your family. Fortunately, there are several good, accredited online Master’s degree programs, in fields ranging from jurisprudence to business to hotel management to counseling and education.
Online graduate degree programs have gotten better since the mid ’90s. Where they used to be seen as being a step up from diploma mills, now they’re offered by top rank schools, like Harvard Business School and MIT. The instruction is challenging and top notch, and the learning pace can be handled online from the comfort of your own home.
Other avenues for getting a Masters degree include getting accredited for the skills you already use in your job. This kind of “work related” degree program can extend to Doctorates if need be, though in most cases, it tends to be for gaining an Engineering degree for someone who started out as a shop machinist.
While a Master’s degree is not the only requirement for career advancement or career change, it’s an important one — and one that has, statistically, proven to be a real income generator. So look at your Masters Degree as an investment in yourself, and your own income potential, rather than as an expense that you have to shoulder.
Likewise, don’t treat a graduate degree as something that’s a guarantee — you still have to be good at the skills your future employer is hiring for. All a Master degree shows is that you have demonstrated these skills to someone else; it doesn’t demonstrate that you’ll be a good team player or a good fit for the business culture. Even though the Master’s degree will help you get a job interview you’ll still have to win them over in the interview.
Read on to learn more about online master’s degree programs for career advancement or career change, plus get tips on how to find an accredited graduate degree program that suits your career plan.
